Within the scope of the “81 and 81 Academic Advisors” project carried out by TOBB/tepav, a series of joint meetings organized with the participation of all Chambers/exchanges to contribute to local/national/international development activities in Mardin.

In this context, Mardin Province/districts Chambers/stock exchanges, XII.The Joint Chamber/Stock Exchange meeting was hosted by the Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was attended by the following names from the Chambers/Stock Exchanges: Mehmet Ali Tutaþý, Chairman of the Board of Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice Presidents Gümar Budak and Kenan özçelik, Secretary General Çetin Sasa, quality and accreditation officer Sibel Gültekin, Chairman of the Board of Kýzýltepe Chamber of Commerce Mahmut Dündar, Secretary General Ahmet Aslan,helper  Metin sert,Nusaybin chamber of commerce and Industry president Necdet Aktaþ,general secretry Ahmet Dal,Accredition and quality officer Ercan Çelik, ; TOBB/Tepav, University of Mardin/District Chamber/Stock Exchange Academic advisor and faculty member of the Department of Economics of Mardin Artuklu assoc. Dr. Mehmet Behzat Ekinci.

The agenda items of the meeting were as follows: good practice examples of Mardin Chambers/stock exchanges, Mau-ODA/Stock Exchange research reports, works of Mardin Chamber/Stock Exchange Joint Project Team, Member satisfaction research, new applications/openings in rooms/exchanges, Academic Advisory period activities, Academic Advisory period Action Plan.

In the meeting, good practice samples of Mardin Chambers/stock exchanges were discussed. Within this framework, activities to raise awareness of the damages of the stubbornness of the Chambers/stock exchanges, especially the Nusaybin Trade stock exchange, and to take measures to prevent them were examined. It was decided to maintain them in a stable manner.

The research reports of the Chambers/Exchanges in cooperation with Mardin Artuklu University (mau) were another agenda item. On 19-22 April 2018, 5.International Mardin agricultural equipment, food and livestock Fair (Magotex 2018) for participating companies, MAU IIBF Economics Department students, with the contribution of the report prepared as a result of the report was evaluated. It was decided that this would be more visible in local/national media channels and that it would continue to share with relevant individuals/institutions, especially members.

At the meeting, Mardin Chamber of Commerce joint project team was brought to the table with special importance. Negotiations were held to increase the team's functionality. In this context, in the new period, we agreed to make organisational changes to the focus of the joint project team on individual and joint local/national and international projects.

The data obtained with’ member satisfaction surveys ' were evaluated. To this end, negotiations on measures to be taken to increase the satisfaction of the members were held. In addition, with the contributions of the joint project team, it was decided to lead to institutional mobility with the activities that the Chambers/exchanges will carry out directly towards members.

The new applications and expansions of the rooms/exchanges were another matter of agenda that was addressed with special importance. In this context, increasing cooperation with public/private and mixed institutions, realization of individual and/or joint economic organizations, etc. negotiations were held on the issues. In this context, the idea of increasing the function of the Chambers/stock exchanges and increasing the degree of relationship and their impact/contribution was exchanged. It was decided that these and similar issues should be discussed in the following meetings.

XIII.The joint meeting was planned to be held in October 2018 under the ownership of Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
