A joint project team formed by the Chambers/exchanges of Mardin Province/counties to prepare and carry out various projects within the interests of the third meeting took place. During the meeting, discussions were held on the activities and projects for the members of the Chamber/stock market.
The participants of the meeting, hosted by Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and industry on July 3, 2018, were: KTB Deputy Secretary General and Project Team Coordinator Metin Sert, NTB quality and accreditation Coordinator Ercan çelik, NTSO quality and accreditation Coordinator Ilhan özmen, NTSO registry officer Nuh ÖZMEN, Mardin Chamber/Stock Exchange advisor and MAU Iibf Economics Department Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Behzat Ekinci.
At the meeting held in four sessions, the following issues were discussed::
Individual existing projects and new joint projects, Applied market research activities, Sectoral reports and Statistics, General Evaluation.
In the first session, the Chambers/exchanges talked about the projects they carried out individually and shared their experiences. Ktb talked about the ur-GE project carried out on Bulgur-pasta sector, the EU-Central Finance Contracting unit related project and the fair Feasibility Study planned to carry out in cooperation with the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce. NTB and NTSO conveyed information about the Strategic Plan projects they plan to carry out with the dika.
In addition to the projects carried out/carried out individually, the Chambers/exchanges also discussed the possible projects to be implemented in a joint manner, especially for the members. In this context, a consensus was reached for the preparation of the project on issues that mobilize Mardin's international trade capacity.
During the second session, Ekinci, the Academic Advisor of the Project Team, shared information with the participants through their web sites as part of the joint project preparations for the members. For this purpose, especially the Ministry of economy web site information about the following support has been transferred:
Overseas Market Research Support, Membership Support For E-Commerce Sites, Support of sectoral Trade and purchasing committees.
The project team agreed to inform the members about these support at the first stage. On the contrary, it was decided to prepare and carry out joint projects in the content of which its members are actively directing these activities to the execution.
The third session dealt with the research and reports of the Chambers/exchanges that Mau plans to prepare by using human resources. In this context, it was agreed to prepare various sectoral reports and statistical files by providing logistics from Mau academicians and students according to their degree of interest. In the first place, the preparation of reports on the bulgur and textile sectors was decided.
General assessment was made at the end of the meeting. President of the Board of Directors of the Ntso, Mahsum Özmen, Accounting Director Ihsan öz and NTB General Secretary Abdullah Dal attended the meeting. The participants expressed good faith that these meetings had a positive impact on the institutional capacity of the Chambers/exchanges and regional development.
