2019 Introductory Meeting on Employment Mobility organized by our Chamber held in our headquarter. Following the mobilization of employment launched by President Recep Tayyip Erdoðan on February 25, support and promotion centers were established within the chambers and exchanges in each city.
In the meeting hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kýzýltepe an introductory meeting titled ''This is Mardin , Here is JOB'' was conducted for chamber presidents and employers under the name of Employment Mobilisation.
District governor and Deputy Mayor of Kýzýltepe Mehmet Yüzer, President of Kýzýltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahmut Dündar, Chairman of Kýzýltepe Commodity Exchange Mehmet Þahin, Chairman of the Kýzýltepe Chamber of Drivers Bedran Þahin, President of Organized Industrial Zone Nasýr Duyan, President of Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Ýsa Tunç, Head of Chamber of Agriculture Bedirhan Dinler, Deputy Director of Ýþ-Kur Mardin Abdürrahim Yalçýn attended the meeting.
Mehmet Yüzer, District Governor, said: “Employment must be high in order to turn the wheels of the economy. People shall make money so that they can spend. As people spend , the wheels of the trade will also turn. Therefore, our state and government have been focusing on the mobilization of employment for several years. Incentives are provided to employers who will employ new employees.I hope our employers employ more people. As more people earn moremoney , they spend more thereby the goods produced are sold. Thus, the wheels of the economy turns more easily and our society becomes more prosperous’’.
Mahmut Dündar, President of Kýzýltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, following this call of our President, the Minister of Treasury and Finance, the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services and the President of Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges(TOBB) have worked intensively for 2 weeks to arrange these employment incentives. The legislative arrangements for these were passed quickly by the Parliament and came into force by being published in the Official Gazette.
Dündar emphasizing that they aim to employ 5 thousand unemployed stated that'' our President and Head of Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) indicated that they will employ 2 and a half million workers across Turkey’’ and reaffirmed ‘’ We prepared this very program as well. Hopefully our industrialists will hire the workers too. We hope to provide jobs for 4-5 thousand workers. They're gonna have jobs.We want our people to have jobs.
Organized Industrial Zone President (OIZ) Nasir Duyan also asked for the removal of barriers to industrialists and stated that ‘’ employment without production can not exist’’.
