MARDÝN CHAMBERS /STOCK EXCHANGES WILL CARRY OUT JOINT WORKS IN DIFFERENT AREAS

.Mardin city/towns chamber/stocks,23rd joint  meeting was done.The meeting was done with the host of Nusaybin commodotiy exchanges.

Participants of the meeting held on July 27, 2023 were as follows: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nusaybin Commodity Exchange (NTB) Necdet Aktaþ, Speaker of the Assembly Abdulhakim Aytimur, Members of the Assembly Davud Ayaz, Þeyhmus Yalçýn, Abdulaziz Kaplan, Mehmet Aldemir, Abdülhalim Aydin, Þeyhmus Peker, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee Fehmi Süleymanoðlu,  General Secretary  Abdullah Dal, Accreditation Officer Ercan Celik; Kýzýltepe chairman of the board of directors of the  commodotity exchange Mehmet Þahin,General secretary helper Metin sert, Kiziltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO) Chairman of the Board Mahmut Dündar,  General  secretary  Ahmet Aslan, Accreditation Officer Ferhat Dündar; Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Hatip Çelik,  General secretary  Çetin Sasa, Advisor to the President Mehmet Uncu; Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary Abdulkadir Güneþ; MAÜ IIBF Economics Department Faculty Member, MAÜKÖK Coordinator, TOBB/TEPAV and Mardin Province/Districts Chamber/Stock Exchange Academic His Advisor is Prof. Dr. Mehmet Behzat Ekinci.

The agenda items of the meeting were as follows: The Current Status of the Academic Consulting Program, Good Practices of Chambers/Exchanges, Media Visibility Activities of Chambers/Exchanges, Projects/Activities on the Agenda, Institutional Structure of Chambers/Exchanges, Increasing the Effectiveness of Professional Committees/Specialized Commissions of Chambers/Exchanges, Creation of Women's and Young Entrepreneur Boards, Problems of Airline Transportation in Mardin, Potential Qualified Joint Projects, Academic Consulting Semester Activities.

Mardin Chambers/Commodity Exchanges provided information about the following examples of good practices that they carried out during the period:

.KTB: Activities related to the service building within the scope of the attraction centers support program, sharing of knowledge and experience related to accreditation with intra- and external Chambers / Commodity Exchanges, Ur-Ge project for Mardin Bulgur Wheat.
.KTSO: TOBB Anatolian High School studies, Tekstilkent project studies, Database creation studies for Chamber of commerce registry services, Corporate customer relationship management (CRM) studies/applications, Document management system studies.
.MTSO: Training programs for personnel, meetings within the scope of studies aimed at improving the functioning/effectiveness of professional committees.
.NTB: Activities related to Siirt Pistachio within the scope of product diversification, Corporate customer relationship management (CRM) studies/applications, Document management system studies, Initiatives aimed at department diversification (logistics, tourism, textile, animal husbandry) at Vocational School.
.NTSO: Training activities, Technical support project studies with the development agency, Corporate customer relationship management (CRM) studies/applications.

The decisions taken at the meeting are as follows:

The current status of the Academic Counseling Program was discussed. The program, which will end in August, is planned to be continued on a local scale with similar content.
It was decided to continue the ongoing projects. The main ones are as follows: In the new period, it is aimed to increase the effectiveness of the Mardin Chamber/Borsa Joint Project Team under the team leadership of MTSO. Within this scope, project team members will take an active role in new projects. In addition, special attention will be paid to the activities related to the EU Green Agreement. The promotion of the joint book of MAU-Mardin Chambers / Commodity Exchanges published will continue. In this context, it will be tried to increase the added value by delivering the work to the relevant segments according to its content.
The institutional structure of the Chambers / Stock Exchanges was considered as a special agenda item. Within this framework, information about “How to Create an Institutional Structure and Some Basic Principles in This Process” was conveyed by the Academic Advisor. Emphasis was placed on the need for Chambers/Commodity Exchanges to build a strong corporate structure for the satisfaction of their members and the public.
The issue of Increasing the Effectiveness of the Professional Committees / Specialized Commissions of Chambers/Stock Exchanges was also discussed. In this context, the issue of holding the necessary meetings in order for each Chamber / Stock Exchange to function and make all professional committees effective was discussed. As a matter of fact, it was stated that the Chambers / Exchanges that implement this have achieved significant results and the results achieved have made significant contributions to both institutions, members and the public.
It was decided that all Chambers/ Stock Exchanges should participate effectively in the process of creating women's and young entrepreneur boards. In the new period, we will act together in the creation and operation of these boards.
Airline transportation problems were also discussed in Mardin. In this context, the Chambers / Commodity Exchanges signed by creating a joint request text and decided to forward them to the Ministry of Transport and THY. In addition, lobbying activities will also be carried out through media sources in this regard. Thus, it will be tried to find a solution to the problem of the number of flights experienced in air transportation in Mardin.
Potential qualified joint projects were negotiated. In this context, it was decided to take joint action in DIKA, TUBITAK and EU projects.
24th  Joint Meeting will be held in November 2023 hosted by the Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
